Help & Safety
Paw Lanterns is a quiet place to remember the pets we've lost. Here's how we keep it kind, and where to find support.
If you're struggling
Losing a companion can hurt as much as losing anyone we love. Paw Lanterns is a place to remember, not a substitute for professional help. If you're finding things hard, please reach out:

Reporting something
Every memorial has a ⚑ Report link, and every note has a small ⚑ button. Reports come straight to us and we aim to look at them within 24 hours. We remove anything hurtful, mocking, graphic, sexual, or not a genuine memorial.
Families can also hide any note on their own pet's spot.
To reach a person, email safety@pawlanterns.com.
Intimate or private images
If an intimate image of you, or of anyone, appears here without consent, email safety@pawlanterns.com with the link. We remove these within 48 hours of a valid request, and usually much sooner.
Your photos and copyright
If a photo you own was uploaded without your permission, use ⚑ Report → "My photo used without permission", or email our copyright contact at copyright@pawlanterns.com with the link and proof that the photo is yours. [For the US: our designated DMCA agent is registered with the US Copyright Office: [AGENT NAME, ADDRESS].] We repeatedly remove the content of anyone who keeps uploading other people's work.
Who the meadow is for
